Cross-country skiing around the Reschen Pass

Alongside skiing and snowboarding, cross-country skiing also enjoys great popularity. Around 90 km of cross-country skiing slopes extend across the region surrounding the Reschen Pass. The well-developed cross-country skiing network surrounding Nauders (from 1,400 m up to 1,900 m) is ideal for cross-country skiers and skaters of all difficulty levels. The popular cross-country training week takes place here once a year with the Austrian Nordic combiner and world champion Willi Denifl. The professional shows both beginners and advanced how it should be done.

A particular highlight in Nauders is the illuminated "Via Claudia" night-time run with a length of 1.2 km. We also have the high-altitude "Schwarzer See" trail for experienced enthusiasts with a total length of 10 km here in Nauders on the Reschen Pass. The high-altitude trail in neighbouring South Tyrol in Langtaufers is not only recommended due to the guarantee of snow there, but also because of the panorama. The short drive (approx. 20 mins) is more than worth it.
