Our contribution to the environment
We care deeply about the nature and mountain world surrounding Nauders. That is why, for many years, we have been committed to conscious resource management and responsible interaction with our surroundings at Hotel Post. Many measures may seem small, but together they make a valuable contribution to greater sustainability in the daily operations of our house.

Conscious Tyrol Business
Wherever possible, we rely on regional products and work with local businesses.
Use instead of waste
We reuse misprints and only dispose of paper after it has been used on both sides.
Less plastic waste
Reusable dispensers are used instead of single-use bottles for shampoo and shower gel.
Careful waste separation throughout the hotel
Careful waste separation is a matter of course in our establishment. Suitable collection systems are available in all areas. Food waste is disposed of properly, deposit items are collected and returned accordingly.
Waiver on single-use products
Single-use flip-flops are only available upon request. Cleaning is done with vacuum cleaners that do not use disposable bags.
Solar power
Our in-house PV system supplies part of our electricity. This saves costs and resources.
Fabric instead of paper
In our dining halls, we exclusively use washable fabric napkins.
Chemical-free cleaning
We clean using neutral detergents and largely avoid harsh chemicals.
Energy efficiency
In the house, 90 % of the lamps are LEDs. This allows us to save electricity and reduce waste.
Fresh mountain air instead of AC
We consciously do without air conditioning – in Nauders, the altitude ensures fresh mountain air.
We promote sustainable mobility
We actively support lower-emission mobility for guests and employees with charging stations for electric cars. We also promote the use of public transport through the team.Card Nauders, Tiroler Oberland & Kaunertal, which we provide to all our employees.
Repair rather than replace
Instead of replacing things immediately, we focus on repair and continued use.
Save water
Water-saving showerheads help to consciously reduce water consumption in everyday hotel life.
Conserve resources
Bed linen, towels and much more are washed and cleaned directly in the house.
Sustainability for us at Hotel Post Nauders primarily means one thing: acting consciously – every single day. Many small decisions in our daily operations help to conserve resources and protect our environment. As a traditional family-run hotel, it is particularly important to us that future generations can experience the nature around Nauders just as we do today. Together with our guests, we want to do our part – for a liveable future and for responsible holidays in the mountains.
