Status of Compliance with the Requirements
This website is partially compliant with Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 and the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 due to the following incompatibilities and/or exceptions.
Non-Accessible Content
a) Incompatibility with Accessibility Regulations
- On the career page, a badge containing text is used as an image, which does not comply with success criterion 1.4.5 – Images of Text. This badge is purely decorative, and its content is repeated in the adjacent text field.
The incompatibilities with accessibility requirements are reviewed regularly to ensure that all standards are met as far as possible. We place great importance on continuously improving our website and implementing necessary adjustments promptly to guarantee accessible use.
b) Disproportionate Burden
- When the page is enlarged to 200%, menu fields overlap depending on screen width. This violates criterion 1.4.4 – Resize Text. Fixing this would require reprogramming the website, which represents a disproportionate burden.
- When zoomed to 200%, a horizontal scroll bar appears, meaning criterion 1.4.10 – Reflow is not fulfilled. Correcting this would also require a complete reprogramming of the website and is therefore considered a disproportionate burden.
- When adjusting text spacing (including line height, paragraph spacing, letter and word spacing), some elements overlap. This violates criterion 1.4.12 – Text Spacing. Again, resolving this issue would require reprogramming and thus constitutes a disproportionate burden.
- Swipers containing images and content cannot be fully operated via keyboard; the focus only reaches the first element and cannot access non-visible elements. This violates criteria 2.1.1 – Keyboard Accessibility, 2.4.7 – Focus Visible, and 2.4.11 – Focus Not Obscured (Minimum). Fixing this would require complete reprogramming and is therefore a disproportionate burden.
c) Content Not Covered by Applicable Legal Provisions
- The website contains older documents and content that are not fully accessible. Since these were published before June 28, 2025, they are exempt from the Accessibility Act and are not currently scheduled for comprehensive revision.
- The website also includes content and documents from third-party providers that were neither developed, financed, nor controlled by us. We cannot guarantee the accessibility of such third-party content; therefore, it is also exempt from the Accessibility Act.
Preparation of this Accessibility Statement
This statement was prepared on June 17, 2025, and last updated on November 7, 2025.
The evaluation of compliance with the Accessibility Act was carried out as a self-assessment based on the Level AA criteria of the WCAG 2.2 guidelines.
